BDO recently held our third Procurement igNite event, "Digital Horizons: Transformative Procurement in the 360-Degree Business Sphere". This exclusive event explored the deployment of digitalisation in Procurement, discussed new collaboration and workflow technologies and comprehensive job redesign to upskill employees, thereby empowering enterprises to establish a formidable competitive advantage for sustainable business growth.
The event, held on 7 December 2023 at The Raffles Town Club, was graced by the distinguished presence of Mr. Desmond Tan, Minister of State at Prime Minister's Office and Deputy Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC).

Guest of Honour Address: Mr. Desmond Tan, Minister of State at Prime Minister’s Office and Deputy Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) shared his esteemed insights on the digital horizons impacting Singapore businesses from a comprehensive 360-degree perspective. He emphasised that AI is the way to go and highlighted how AI is not just about productivity increase, it signifies business transformation by changing the mindset of how business is conducted. He underscored the shift in focus from merely adopting AI to ensuring that employees are adept at continuous learning, creating a win-win situation for all.
